Rustic Wagon Campground

West Yellowstone MT

Today was moving day … we were on the road to Yellowstone. The drive was much better for us heading north as the traffic was light. The south bound lanes were stop and go as a elk, moose, or anything else was along the roadside. We stopped for one picture of some elk but thought we would continue on to the campground. We arrived and checked in then proceeded to our spot. Once set up it was time for a little lunch. Once lunch was over Debi headed off to the laundry area and I started to clean all the bugs off the front of the trailer.

Plans for our stay here is:

Friday we will head into the park and see old faithful and other geysers. Maybe we will find some wildlife to shoot pictures of.

Saturday we will take a drive up to Nevada City and the Montana’s gold west. We were also told by the owner here Moose and bears can be seen in the morning and early evening.

Sunday, the 4th, we will stay here in the town of West Yellowstone. There are a number of activities and fireworks at 10pm.

Monday it might be a day back into the park before we depart on Tuesday for Billings.

I have posted more pictures on the web.
