We're back on the road again! Yay!!!! We love visiting family & friends but we also enjoy our 'time alone', if you know what I mean. It's hard to believe that we've been in Arizona for over two weeks. As you know, we attended the three day 2014 Southwest Gospel Music Festival and loved every minute of it. There are some amazing singers out there. Wish I had been blessed with a better than average singing voice. Sometimes the sheer beauty of the voice and the song brings me to tears. Especially Kim Hopper's. Wow, can that lovely lady sing!! You can hear a bit of a personal testimony about the premature birth of her daughter and the beautiful 'Peace In the Midst of the Storm' here if you like: Kim Hopper

Saturday afternoon we moved our home from Southwest RV to Stan & Phyl's where we spent another 5 days. Sunday morning Phyllis & I went to Mesa Market, a giant outdoor venue in Mesa of course, and as usual found several things we couldn't live without. Two lovely Raku pots now grace the Stanneart home and Larry has a new phone case. I love the cheese curds, made locally here in Tempe, and also purchased a new collapsible colander. Jewelry cleaner, a new bread knife, a couple of cool t-shirts for Larry, a sparkly shirt for me and the list goes on. Afterward we enjoyed Panda Express, something we've both been craving. Yummy :)

Monday the guys hung out and we girls went to an afternoon matinee. Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts do one heck of an acting job in August:Osage County but man, was it depressing. Quite the dysfunctional family. This is not a movie I would want to see again. Unlike 'Jack Ryan-Shadow Recruit' with Chris Pine & Kevin Costner which was great. Now that is a movie I can recommend! Larry & I both enjoyed it very much.

Well, I've rambled on quite enough for today. Stop back again soon to hear about our latest RV/mechanical issue. We've got it under control temporarily and are comfortably settled in at Dead Horse SP. We'll be here for the next two weeks. As you know, Sedona is one of our favorite places. Hard to beat the beauty of this area. We plan to do some hiking as well as taking some a few of the lovely driving tours. The weather is fantastic, running in the mid 70's. Just like we like it!
