|Cool today, okay, low 70’s is cool for us. Plus windy, which makes it in the 60’s. I know, we are wimps and have forgotten our roots where rain is the true nature of the weather. Isn’t it simply amazing how quickly one can acclimate themselves to their surroundings? I may have a change of heart when we are in the East Coast in the summer. I will be letting you know about that, you can count on it.
Laundry day again. How can we have so much laundry when we brought so few clothes?
Made a great chopped salad for lunch, John watched some football, I read my book, looked up places to go for our next destination…in other words, pretty easy day. We had some cocktails with our neighbors, Rita and David, from British Columbia. They are really nice people who have an Airstream, about a 28 ft. silver bullet. John loves them. I think he likes the history of them, the classic look. But, they don’t have slide outs. I need a slide out. We are close enough. Not all dream RV’s are perfect.
Checking out of Casa Grande tomorrow and heading for St. David, Arizona. We should be there for about a week. We plan to visit Tucson, Tombstone, Benson, Bisbee and where ever the guide books tell us to go. Our friends, Lois and Jack will be coming down for a 2 day visit when we head to Tombstone. Cowboys and Indians…my husband’s dream. Have you heard the song, “should have been a cowboy” by Toby Keith…well, fellas, that’s my John. He will be in his glory, wearing his boots; jeans and cowboy snap button shirt…had to leave the Stetson in Washington…no room in the trailer. I think he will have to wear a baseball cap and pretend. Now if we can just find a horse!
Heading out to a new place is very exciting. This will be our last week in Arizona. Love it here!!
