You know, when you're planning trips on paper, drives seem much shorter than when you are actually making them. Today was a tough one. We left Westborough before 7am and traveled about five hours to Syracuse, where Helena's cousins live. After a lovely chicken lunch and a nice visit, we were able to start back on the road, finally making it into the Canadian side of Niagara Falls around 8pm. After dinner we were able to fall into bed and sleep, which I sorely needed, as much as I needed a real bath in an actual bathtub. Thank god, for the occasional hotel!
