Larry & Lee Ann's Journey travel blog

It's nice and green in the area...

Making our way along US 180 west....

You can see for miles...

It's been sprinkling for awhile, the roads are damp...

Traffic is light...Isn't this a pretty area.

Coming into El Paso on a new loop...Traffic moved fairly well until...

Back into New Mexico....

Pretty mountain range off to our right through the rain...

A small end of a rainbow...

Isn't the sky nice?

Sun streaming through the clouds on I-10...

Too many big rigs for me! I like traveling the smaller highways...

Looks like a hole coming down from heaven!

One final sunset pic just outside of Deming...Glad to be here safely...

We traveled US 180 most of the day yesterday, crossing back into Texas for awhile, before finally arriving in Deming, New Mexico about 7pm last night. Boy I hate going through the El Paso area! We fought a head wind most of the trip and encountered a few sprinkles here and there. Makes for a long drive. The skies were awesome however and the clouds were very entertaining as we traveled I-10. Nice! You know how I love my clouds, lol.

Larry did a great job of delivering us safely & that's what counts, right? We're going into Palomas, Mexico in a couple of hours for new eyeglasses, lunch and a margarita, or two! LOL Have a great day everyone & happy trick-or-treating!!!!
