Todd House - Front

Todd House - Side and Rear

Todd House - Rear

LATE AFTERNOON

Back in Lexington, we drove downtown to see Todd House, the home of Mary Todd Lincoln from 1832 to 1839. When President Lincoln was there, he liked to lie on the floor beneath the second-story window to read because the light was good. That's the way he had studied as a child. We were unable to go inside because we had arrived too late.
