We had a good time with Aunt Kaki in Vegas. She wanted to play bingo at one of the casinos in Henderson, so we all went. We had fun, but none of us won bingo. Kaki says she doesn't even know what to say anymore since it's been so long since she won. On Friday morning, we took Kaki out to the Paris for their breakfast buffet which is the best! We played some more bingo and had a good time seeing some of the new Vegas sights. Kaki left on Saturday to go back to Bullhead City.

We've had a great time in Vegas. We've tried to go some of the places we've never been to before. One day we went downtown and went to all the casinos on Fremont street that we had never been in before. One of them - the Golden Gate - is the oldest casino in Las Vegas. We also won on their penny machines, so we really like them.

One of my favorite things are the Bellagio fountains which I took pictures of last year, but this time have a couple of new ones. Here you can see how calm the waters look before the fountain show begins

Also this time, the show began with mists flowing out across the water

If they have started like this before, I don't remember it. I could sit all day and watch these shows.

Even though we were only in Vegas last year, things are constantly changing. The area next to the Bellagio has been cleared and now construction is rapidly developing a new MGM Mirage property

One of the things I love about Vegas is that Venice is just a little bit to the north, New York to the South, and Paris is right across the street

We finally got to see Mamma Mia. This show has been a sore spot with us for several years as we had had tickets to see it at Dallas Summer Musicals, but were involved in finishing the set for Little Shop of Horrors. We were so exhausted by the time show time came around that we just stayed home instead. We have always regretted not seeing Mamma Mia. The Vegas version is uncut, too, which is unusual for Vegas as they usually cut a Broadway show to 90 minutes and run it without an intermission. Can't keep the people out of the casino too long, you know. It was a lot of fun - good Abba music and a cute storyline.

For our last day in Vegas, we went to the Paris lunch buffet - WOW! It was really good and we really enjoyed it. Good thing, for tomorrow we diet.
