We stayed at a great campground in Lake Powell National Park with a view of the Lake. We will be here for two days. The first day we visited Antelope Canyon, a Navajo owned and operated sculpted petrified sand dune that has been carved out inside with spectacular camera opportunities. We had to take a jeep truck ride from the office to the dune on a dry sand river bottom. There were 14 of us on the back of the jeep and the ride was worse than anything Disney has created. We had to wear masks to keep the sand out and hold on for dear life. Laughed ‘til we cried! The scenery was unbelievable. You can learn more about Antelope Canyon at www.antelopecanyon.com.
