We visited with Jerry and Anita from the forum. They go by the handle Calgary because that is where they are from. They got stuck in Yuma for the winter when on their way to Mexico. He got a detached retina and has had two operations in Yuma and is staying here for it to heal. We visited with them twice, the second time we went to a cool hamburger joint.
We also went to the Lettuce Festival. It was disappointing as there was not much there other than a giant flea market. Not much lettuce related stuff other than one place selling produce and a small salad bar billed as the "largest salad bar in the Southwest". I'd have to say it might be the largest in southwest Yuma.
Yesterday we had a BBQ with our friends from our first Mexican caravan and friends from Canada. It was a chilly day... low 60's but the wind was brisk so we bundled up.
