Today we went to the Yuma Proving Grounds. This is where the Army test weapons, machinery, uniforms, basically everything a soldier needs and uses. We went through their museum and display of tanks, howitzers, and rockets.
This is where the Golden Knights do their training in the winter. They are basically the best skydivers in the world and they prove it by winning all the competitions. They have 90 jumpers divided into about 8 different teams specializing in different things. We watched for a couple of hours. The jump about 8 hours a day throughout the entire winter. Then the rest of the year they are doing exhibitions and competitions.
