We decided to stop for one night in Benson and were looking forward to warming up. We were not disappointed. We stopped at Cochise Terrace which is a really nice park far enough off the interstate to be away from the noise. It was very apparent as we were hooking up how different the temperature was. I took Madison for a walk and thoroughly enjoyed the warm sun. Here's a picture taken from the dog walk

Even though it still was freezing at night, the change in the weather was appreciated. We hope that this night was our last freezing temp.
We left Sunday morning and finally saw our first glimpses of Arizona's state tree - the Saguaro cactus
