Our incredible site on the end at Chelan County Fairgrounds..

It is huge with 300 sites, with only a few others in...

Last one!

Today was a travel day from Poulsbo, WA to Cashmere, WA, about 210 miles. The drive took us through miles of apple orchards and the beautiful Cascade Mountains.

We are parked at the local fairgrounds with full hook ups for only $18 a night, Good Sam rates. We almost have the whole campground to ourselves, there are about 4 others on the back row, we chose the front row on the end where I set up all my bird feeders.

I love the end sites so I can watch birds with binoculars without having anyone think I am watching them. :-)

We have a lot of exploring to do in the area. The Wenatchee River runs right through the town of Cashmere, we are seeing a lot of river rafting in the area. We are only a few miles from Leavenworth, WA. We have been wanting to explore this Bavarian town for quite some time.

Cashmere is a charming town and the people have been extra nice. We feel like we know a lot of them already. We will be here for a few weeks before moving on to Idaho. Check back later for more from Cashmere.
