We are in the tiny town of Peshastin, WA. Peshastin is a small community in Chelan County. The community's roots are found in the "Peshastin Ditch" dug by pioneers beginning in 1889. This ditch was an important part of the overall irrigation system in the area, delivering water to the orchards on the slopes above Cashmere. The town was first platted in the early 1890s by two brothers, J. Q. Gilbert and A. C. Gilbert. It is also noted on an 1895 map of the area. Today, Peshastin is still a small community with one elementary school and a library.

It is well known for all the fruit stands selling the local fresh fruits and vegetables. Don't miss Smallwood's Harvest while visiting Peshastin, it is an awesome store for fresh fruits and vegetables plus a ton of stuff for children. They have a petting farm, cow train rides and much more for the kids. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story.
