|Today we woke up at 7:00 AM to take the train to Boston. Once we arrived my mom and I split up from Uncle Dan, Aunt Helena, Cole and Sam. My mom showed me her favorite things about Boston. We first visited very old graves, including Ben Franklin’s, and Samuel Adams’. Next, we went to the public gardens, and visited where my mom used to live on Charlesgate East. We also shopped for a 49ers snapback hat, which I could not find in California. Once we were finished with that, we took the T to the North End of Boston, which is where a lot of Italian people live. we stopped and ate at a great Italian restaurant and visited Paul Revere's house. I had my first Cannoli, a fresh, sweet, Italian dessert. Once we were finished with the North End, we took the T to a station that had a shuttle to take us to the JFK library where we learned lots about John F Kennedy. Once we were done, we took the shuttle back to the T, rode it to the commuter train, which we quickly board for the ride back to Westboro. Today I learned that JFK was lost with his PT boat crew for 10 days after their boat was destroyed in World War II. It was a great day in Boston.
