Today was another driving day. As much as we hated leaving the beautiful Lolo area, we had to drive to Deer Lodge for our medical appointments.
Boy is it hard to be tied down to an appointment again. It felt too much like work having to be somewhere at a set time. :-) We don't like to have set appointments for anywhere in advance. We might see a place on our way that we want to stop and explore, so we never make reservations, unless it's for a few months during the winter. We are very spoiled and blessed with this awesome travel life.
Our drive was a short one, only about 90 miles. Driving anywhere in Montana is exciting, it's one of the most beautiful states, our second favorite, with Alaska winning first place. The people in Montana are also some of the friendliest we have met. We will miss out new friends when we move on to Wyoming.
We will be here for about a week. We plan to make short drives over to Helena and Butte to do some exploring. We have never been to Helena and we only stayed in Butte once, it was a quick overnight stay just to rest, this time we will have more time to visit. Check back later for more from Montana.
