We did a bunch of things the past few days. We went to an artists place and looked at the art he makes out of shells. He has pieces in the Smithsonian and in the Vatican. He told us his story.
One night we made Wahdingers for dinner. You take cresent rolls out of the can, wrap the dough around a dowel, bake them over a fire, and then stuff them full of meat, cheese, onions. We also did some for desert with whipped cream, pudding, fruit and stuff. It was a lot of fun and pretty tasty.
We had a chili cookoff. Out of 25 rigs my chili (Jeff) came in 3rd place. I was pretty happy because we had professional chili cookoff judges staying in the park and we used them. One judge told me he liked mine because he said it made his nose run. I made it as hot as I could.
Most everybody has a pet so we had a pet parade. One fellow showed us his bird, you should have seen it, the bird sings, flaps his wings and he jumps, it was very funny.
One day we went shell collecting and went to a championship golf course for a look.
