We finished our last murder mystery on Dec. 28th and would have started west then, but we were paid through the 11th at the RV park and with all the repairs lately, we couldn't throw that away.
We had a good time keeping the grandkids over a Friday night and taking them to see the movie "Enchanted." We also got some things done around the trailer that needed to be done. Amanda and Robert had gotten us an Ipod nano for Christmas, so we spent a lot of time putting our large CD collection on the Ipod, then getting rid of all those CD's which opened out a lot of room under our sofa.
We also gave ourselves two DiscGear 100FX DVD storage boxes and put 200 DVD's into a much smaller space. The device works like a juke box, picking out the DVD you want by a number. Here you can see a picture with the DVD selected picked up

After a birthday (Amanda - 13th, Jeff - 31st - that's dates, not years) meal at Abuelo's, we said our goodbyes to our wonderful children and grandchildren. It was tough to drive away that evening and more than one tear was shed.
Friday, we packed it all up and hit the road again. The wind was coming from the North and gusting to 20-25 mph and we paid for it with our gas mileage. We arrived at Sweetwater's fairgrounds to stay the night. Sweetwater is the wind energy capital of the world, and you can see windmills (do they still call them that?) all over. However, with all of wind blowing, none of them were turning. I guess their batteries were full.
