Dunnett and Daggs Amazing Adventures 2018 travel blog

The beginning of the GO week....

We left Greymouth in the dark and very very wet. We headed up Arthur’s Pass towards Christchurch . It was or looked very pretty if it was not so bloody wet!!

From Arthur’s Pass onwards the skies lightened and by the time we hit Christchurch it was blue skies and very pleasant. We headed to a Westfield so we could grab a few bits and pieces at KMart and 90% of the shops made it look like we were in an Oz Westfield .

A shop at Pak’n’Save saved us lots of dollars and got us our favourite wine even cheaper ...

Checked into our apartment and cracked open a Rum as we waited for the gang to arrive!

The crowd grew as the hours ticked by ... 10 of us in our lounge room all chewing the fat and having the odd alcoholic beverage or two ...

a wander around town found us at a cobbled street with a few restaurants in for a bite of dinner.

Tomorrow is the beginning of our GO adventure...
