Steve and Connie's Alaska Roadtrip 2015 travel blog

We made it as far as Prince George, BC's fourth largest city. However, we did not do much exploring. The owner was taken to the hospital before we arrived. He left a note for folks to find a spot and register tomorrow. Some of these campgrounds really fill up, and when you have a truck camper there are not a lot of ways to mark your site as occupied if you are out exploring. We decided it was a good day to have cocktails and read a good book, so we will take a quick peek at Prince George tomorrow and we will be on our way. Weather is still quite warm and the scenery has been beautiful. The road from Kelownla to Prince George is mostly Indian reservation, so it is miles of beautiful unspoiled mountains. Next stop Stewart, bear country, where we will be staying for a few days. Hope to find WiFi somewhere to post pix.
