It was an easy 141 mile trip from Custer State Park to Midland, SD with most of it traveling East on interstate 90. It took us about 2½ hours and as we are just backtracking now from when we came West, the scenery hasn't changed much. There isn't any trees so we cannot even see any Fall color!

We are staying at the Belvedere East KOA which closed a few days ago but let us have a site overnight as long as we're self-contained and didn't need any of their usual amenities. They only charged us $25 cash. We wish we had that option at other KOAs as we never use any of their amenities anyway! We have a very nice 50 amp, full hookup, pull-through with any easy shot to the satellite and good Verizon since we are only a half-mile from the interstate.

We didn't do anything here but relax and enjoy our solitude so no pictures of that! Tomorrow, we head for a two night stay in Sioux Falls, SD.
