|Cordoba is the second largest city in Argentina after Buenos Aires. There´s an array of beautiful old churches and colonial buildings in the city, but this is spoilt somewhat by the fact that there are ugly, dated, rectangular tower blocks filling all the spaces in between these old buildings. That said, it is a pleasant city. I only came here to break up the journey as I head further north and into Bolivia, so I had no plans when I got here. I visited a number of the old churches, and they really are spectacular. And I found it extremely humbling going into these churches and witnessing just how important the christian faith is to South Americans.
