Capernaum is one of the few places on earth that you can get Jesus confined to a certain building or room. We think we know where the cross was, we think we know where He was born, we think we know where He multiplied the loaves and fishes, but we know that He stood in the synagogue of Capernaum and taught. Read John chapter 6. I did in the city of Capernaum and it gives me chills. Jesus did so much here. He healed Simon Peter's mother in law, He healed the crippled man whose friends lowered him down through the roof, a Centurian asked him to help his suffering servant but did not consider himself worthy to have Jesus come under his roof and so on and so on.

This was Jesus' home after He was rejected at Nazarath.

I have so much to say about Capernaum that it's hard to write about it. Ask me when I get back and you may regret it. I'll probably talk your ears off.

Enjoy the pictures.
