We drove to Lake George, New York. We took many pictures along the way and stopped at Fort Ticonderoga for a look. The next day we went through Ft William Henry. Then we took a 2 1/2 hour cruise up the lake. Both these forts were important in the war between the British and the French. Then later Washington captured Fort Ticonderoga, took took the cannon to Boston which was critical in its defense. The weather semi-cooperated. It was cloudy and we had showers, but we stayed dry.
