We had another one of those "WOWSER" days today. We drove through the Bighorn National Forest with stops along the way at beautiful scenic views.
The most exciting part of our drive was Crazy Woman Canyon Road. It is a dirt and gravel road and very narrow, but it was one of the most beautiful drives we have ever taken. The snow falling made it even more beautiful. Some of the rocks in the canyon are so huge, you have to drive around them in part of the road.
We saw wildlife around every corner, pronghorn antelope, deer, rabbits, eagles and hawks, and some type of wild cat.
I tried to research and see why the canyon was named Crazy Woman, but no one seems to know for sure, I found several stories, all totally different.
We highly recommend this incredible drive to anyone in the area. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Check back later for more from Wyoming.
