Today was another travel day, we drove from Crow Agency, Montana to Story, Wyoming. A much shorter drive, about 100 miles. We can not believe all the wildlife we are seeing in this area. We saw hundreds of Pronghorn antelope along the way. When we arrived in Story we saw deer walking down the street and turkeys everywhere. This tiny town is like living in a storybook fantasy. Story is the perfect name for sure. :-)
We are staying in the Wagon Box RV Park for $20 a night, it only has water and 30 amp electric, but it is right on North Piney creek. We are parked about as close as anyone could get without being in the water. :-) If this place had cable TV I would stay much longer. There are too many trees to get our satellite in. They do have some sites with full hookups, but they are not on the water. The water is extremely fast moving and the sound is awesome. There are also two waterfalls. I tried to capture them with photos, but they do not do this place justice. We sat outside by the creek for hours just enjoying the creek and the wildlife.
It is such a peaceful, back to nature park, we highly recommend it to all our readers. We looked outside and saw the owner walking his dog and HORSES in the afternoon. The horses have no leads or saddles, they are free to walk around the park. :-)
We will be here for a couple of days before moving on. Check back later for more from Wyoming.
