Last one...my motto too. :-)

We were up early this morning and on the road by 9 A.M. We drove just a bit over 300 miles before deciding to boondock in a tiny town called Crow Agency, Montana. I am glad we don't make reservations, our plans seem to change daily. :-) Neither of us had ever heard of Crow Agency before, but it was too interesting to just pass by.

We saw all the signs about the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument and decided it was worth taking an extra day to visit.

Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument preserves the site of the June 25 and 26, 1876, Battle of the Little Bighorn, near Crow Agency, Montana.

It also serves as a memorial to those who fought in the battle: George Armstrong Custer's 7th Cavalry and a combined Lakota-Northern Cheyenne and Arapaho force.

We also visited the museum inside the visitors center before walking around in the Custer National Cemetery. We learned a lot but it is a very sad place to visit.

I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. We will be leaving early in the morning for Wyoming.
