Jerry had to be at the airport today around noon, we miss him much already. We had a great lunch downtown at Eggington's before taking him to the airport. Jared is staying with us until next Monday, he will be riding with us to our next stop in Denver.
After driving about 30 miles from Casper to the small town of Alcova, we visited the Alcova Reservoir and Fremont Canyon. This area reminds us of the Green River area in Wyoming with all the beautiful blue water and red cliffs.
The place is outstanding and we highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
Jared had fun throwing a HUGE rock into the canyon, it was so loud it sounded like a bomb going off. :-) No one was in the area, we could yell and hear the loud echoes coming back. We also found a nice geocache.
Another great day in Wyoming with family. Check back later for more from Wyoming.
