The drive from Memphis to Little Rock was made enjoyable by our listening to the CD's of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It was made horrible by the scores of semis who tailgated each other and cut in front of us with inches to spare. The road was pretty good except for one awful stretch that seemed as if it had been laid on a washboard. Thank goodness, it eventually smoothed out.
We decided to stay at Willow Beach CoE park just outside of Little Rock which is really nice. This morning, it was threatening rain when we left to get gas, and settled into an all day drizzle. However, by the afternoon, the TV began to pop up with tornado warnings. We watched carefully knowing that an RV is NOT the place you wish to be in a tornado, but lucky for us, it skirted to the south of us.
After the worst was over, I took Madison out for a walk and was rewarded with some really spectacular skies. Here you can see the sun beginning to peek out from under all the dark storm clouds

Madison was most interested in the two armadillos who came out to forage and were almost skipping across the grass. Unfortunately, all my pictures of them came out pretty bad. Possibly because I had a dog pulling on the leash while I was trying to take the pictures. Anyway, here's picture of Camp Willow Beach
