We are having a wonderful time in Branson. They started celebrating Christmas on November 1st. Christmas is our favorite time of year. The streets are all decorated and they have dozens of Christmas shows to go to. They even have a drive through Christmas Lights Festival like the one we drove through in Charleston, South Carolina.
We love it so much we moved to a site where we can stay a month. The Army COE Parks only allow about two weeks, so we had to find another site. There are a lot of RV Parks in Branson to choose from and they are very competitive, keeping the prices very reasonable. Our site for the month is only $330.00 including full hook ups, with cable and electric. A great deal!
I am adding a few pictures of our site as well as a few from Branson Landing and around town. The Landing is located right on Lake Taneycomo. They have all sorts of cruises leaving right from the shopping area. They also have a huge water fountain show that dances to music. It was designed by the same company that built the one in Las Vegas at the Bellagio. We have not seen it at night yet, but it was even cool in the daytime with the music and cannons blasting.
Because we will be doing so much in the Branson area, I am only going to send update notices about once a week, even if I do several updates. Hopefully, this will keep my update notices from become annoying. ;-) Check back later for more from Branson.
