|Today's pics are of Mickey's Toontown, an interactive metropolis full of topsy turvy architecture and screwy sculptures. The kids loved this fun land which featured all sorts of cartoon gags and gadgets as well as rides and attractions designed just for them. We enjoyed the amazing lines and detail, as evidenced by the fact that there are NO straight lines in any of the designs here. It was fun visiting the charming houses of Mickey, Minnie and other classic Disney characters. I especially thought the kitchen was cute with it's stove and dishwasher. I didn't even realize this 'town' was here. Guess having 'little ones' with you makes a difference on what sights are important while touring Disneyland, lol!
Anyway, there's one more post on Disneyland after this one as I don't want to overwhelm you in one day. Hope you are enjoying the pics. I'm having fun going back through them and reliving it all...
The refrigerator door arrived yesterday and is installed. Hopefully this one will last awhile. We're going to try and pack the boat under the rig today. We've kept it in a big black box for the past 6 years and moved it in and out of the kitchen area every time we move the 5'er. Not very convenient but necessary. Anyway, we've downsized our storage bay area so hopefully it will have a new home.
Onyx is getting a bath this afternoon and that will about wrap up everything we wanted done before heading out in the morning. Next stop will be Salt Lake City for a night. We want to make one final stop at Costco as it will be the last store that we know of along our route to South Dakota. We shop at Sam's Club in Rapid City every summer, and they do sell similar merchandise, but Costco carries dog treats made in the USA instead of China. We are avoiding products from there as much as possible. We also like to purchase 'readers' in a 4 pack and prefer the one's sold there. Well, I've rambled on enough, time to get busy. So, we'll see you on down the road....
