Starboard stripping from the dink

We arrived just a few days ago in Half Moon Bay after another rough passage. At late afternoon we were just too tired to get a slip so we anchored in Half Moon Bay. Our Pacific coastal passage has made us earn every mile.

Now that we are tied up and predictions show 25 - 30 kt. winds daily with 7 - 15 ft. seas, we are staying put for awhile. As we passed by the Golden Gate we decided that maybe this area needs more exploration. It is likely we will spend the next month in the Bay area.

As I need to run home to take care of a few things, my sweetheart, and I mean that most affectionately, will be stripping, cleaning, oiling, and refinishing our teak toe rail. This is a job I just really don't want (almost refuse) to do. So, as I go home for a quick trip he will be working, working, working to beautify our well used home.

Will provide pics of the beautiful work when I return. In the meantime, I get to meet my new nephew and see family and friends after 6 long months. I'm excited!
