This is what 64 looks like. Ain't he the cutest?

Ricardo, serenading us.

Saddest thing I ever saw. A perfectly good donut dropped.

Cool house, huh?

This one was on the corner, looks like we had stepped back...

Super entryway to another house.

Today is John's 64th birthday. Officially, I am now only 4 years older than him. What can I say, I like them young.

We had a great day!! It started out HOT getting to 109. We spent most of the day just relaxing in the Rv staying cool.

For his birthday dinner we went to a fabulous Italian restaurant that we had been to with Jack & Lois on Father's Day. Bella Luna in Goodyear. John had lamb chops that were to die for and I had shrimp scampi on parmesan risotto and spinach. Oh, what a yummy, yummy dinner. They gave him a huge piece of tiramisu with a candle on top for his birthday, and then the best thing happened. The singing waiter (Ricardo) came over to our table and sang Happy Birthday to him. He has a fabulous voice and we found out later that he can sing in 6 languages. I cannot sing even in English.

Ricardo then serenaded the restaurant with 2 Italian songs and a great "La Bamba". He was also a terrific guitarist. It was one of our most memorable birthday dinners. Check out the menu Bella Luna Restaurant

The day before I had my last doctor appointment and he cleared me to leap tall buildings, run marathons and become a contortionist. YAY! I am so excited. Still not walking real good, but time will cover that. I am sooooo happy.

The neighborhood that his office is located in (Glendale) has some pretty cool houses. I took a few photos to show you.

Oh, gosh, I feel like a new life is ahead of me. Thank you Lord for watching over me, and thank you friends for all you kind words and well wishes. You are the BEST!!
