Today Barb and I drove into Toronto to take the double-decker bus tour of the city. We could get off at several stops throughout the city and then get back on whenever we wanted to. The top deck was open, which was much better for taking photos. We parked at Casa Loma Castle because we thought it would be more convenient. An employee there told me that it had the cheapest parking rates in the city, which was nice to know.
At one place where we had gotten off the bus, we saw what we thought was a riot. It turned out to be an annual student gathering in the street. Incoming freshmen at the University of Toronto have a street rally on the first day of classes. It's all part of the usual activities there.
Our drive in my car through the city was fun, too. We saw many neighborhoods with interesting architecture. Toronto would be a nice place to live, I think. It's very cosmopolitan.
