A nice drive home after a fun day!...

This past Sunday we attended a pretty little church in the nearby town of Wellton. Afterward we drove into Yuma for lunch at a cute little German restaurant, the Das Bratwurst Haus. John & Joyce had eaten here earlier and were quite impressed with their menu. They are closing for the season as are many businesses in the Yuma area. Guess they can't survive after the snowbirds move out. It was a cute place and I ordered the very tasty Schnitzel 'Wiener Art', a seasoned breaded pork loin pan fried, served with warm German potato salad and red cabbage. Mom, you would have loved it! LOL

I took a few quick photos of the steins, collectibles the cuckoo clock and me, in front of a lovely wall mural. And no, I didn't buy anything although the clock was calling my name! After lunch we stopped by the indoor swap meet to pick up a few things. Joyce purchased a nice back support for their truck and a few other RV things. Surprisingly, they had a nice selection of RV items. They were also able to purchase a new outdoor patio rug, a tie-down system for their awning and new step carpets. And a beautiful new ring! Now that's my kind of shopping, lol.
