We had another unusual shopping day, we visited The Country Barn & Gifts Store. It is a 50-year-old barn on the Vining farm located near Silver Dollar City. The gardens are beautiful with a gazebo, fountains and lots of quality handmade crafts by local artists. My favorites were all the glass blown products as well as the birdbaths. We tasted their delicious apple cider and enjoyed viewing the outside and many rooms inside, including the attic.
They offer over 100 varieties of ready-to-eat jams, jellies, sugar-free spreads, honey, sorghum, flavored butters, tasty pickles, cheese dips, salad dressings, salsas and relishes. They specialize in fudge and have free tasting, they also have soups, breads, muffins, cheese balls, fruit & vegetable dips, mulled cider, and cheesecakes available. If you want something really special and easy, try “Pie in a Bottle” or “Cobbler in a Jar”.
They have over 900 pieces of Glazed Pottery in stock plus local Branson crafts from talented artists with one-of-a-kind collector gourds, pottery, sweatshirts, jackets, tea towels, painted windows and decorative items. It took us a while just to view all of it. Another cool shop in Branson not to miss. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. We loved this unusual store and came home with some of the best apple cider we have tasted. Check back later for more from Branson.
