I've decided to post a bit out of order. I mentioned Sunset Crater & Wapatki Ruins in my last post but since we are actually in Prescott now I'm going to reverse the order a bit. We spent the past two days with our dear friends Tim & Crystal Ryerson. We met this great couple several years ago when we decided to purchase a Sea Eagle Paddleski boat. They are distributors for Sea Eagle and their great reputation preceded them. They were camped just outside of Rapid City, South Dakota and we were in Custer, SD for the summer. We went to their place and they demonstrated all of the features of our boat and it was love at first sight. Both with the boat and them! We've spent many happy hours on that inflatable boat and if you are ever in the market for one you need to contact them first. You'll not get a better price or customer service, I promise. Here's a link to their site and if you contact them be sure and tell them Larry & Lee Ann sent you okay?

And if you are a one man fly fisherman (sort'a rhymes doesn't it) lol, then you need to check out the Mean Green Fishin' Machine here:

This past year has actually brought many changes in their lives. Tim recovered from a serious health issue, they sold their motorhome and did a ton of remodeling on their lovely home. You'll see some of the new additions in today's pics. I can see why they love it. Their property is beautiful, with a great view too!

Our first evening together Crystal prepared a wonderful pork roast dinner with all the trimmings. It was great just chatting and catching up with each other. Sunday morning they picked us up for church and afterward we enjoyed a nice lunch at Olive Garden. Followed by a nice tour of several areas of town. We were totally lost the whole time, good thing Tim was driving! We finished our day with snacks and an adult libation while watching a DVD of The Bible:A Journey. It was a 30 minute program that aired with Roma Downey narrating about the making of she and her husband's 10-part mini-series 'The Bible' currently airing on a few different channels. Part three aired last night, sure hope you've been able to catch them. If not, it's not too late to watch the seven that are left.

Anyway, it's been great visiting with them the past couple of days. Aren't good friends a special thing? We've certainly been blessed in our lives with many old one's, and now many new one's ....God is good!

PS Today is my Aunt Toot's birthday. So Happy Birthday honey, we love you. Hope you are having a great day!!!!
