Our B&B

Jess and Harvey enjoyed a game of fetch

Dinner at the local pub was very good!

Cruise day, English Channel; so up for early breaky, skyped kids and off to catch ferry. Exciting ferry trip with heaps of young families and all the kids were treated to a 'Magic Pirate Show' and balloons, so yes not a quiet cruise, only 2 hours and we were driving on the opposite side of the road with a left hand drive!!! Great job Paul, with the echo now sounding like 'Keep left, keep left'. The white cliffs of Dover still look amazing and the castle on the hill brings back special memories from our last cruise back in May when we had a full day in Dover. Arrived at our B & B in Crawley, a leisurely 2hour drive through the countryside after a side trip to Leeds Castle on the way, but as it was 18 pounds each to enter, we enjoyed car park view and continued on to B & B. We met the resident dogs, Harvey and Jess and the owner Sally showed us around her interesting home. We had an upstairs room with a view over the back lawn complete with mole holes and mini forest!! Great quiet, private location and very friendly hosts. Still concerned about the London riots praying for peace.
