Ian and Margaret's RV Adventures travel blog

Well, here we are in Columbia Missouri, having descended, cats and all, on Margaret's mother for what we thought was a couple of days that has turned into almost a week. Last Friday we found that we needed more work on the RV than we had anticipated and that required parts that were not in stock. The plan was to get the parts by Monday, so we decided, rather than spend the weekend in New Horizons' parking lot (that's the factory that built our RV), we'd drive the truck the 250 miles to Columbia and visit Edith while they finished the work on the RV. Day by day the parts issue has gone unresolved, so that as of this date, we don't exactly know when it will be resolved. Meanwhile, we're enjoying a visit here, the cats have settled in here and we're all much more comfortable than we would be in Junction City. It has delayed our return to Phoenix somewhat, but we're just taking it a day at a time!
