It was a 283 mile trip through southern Kansas and Northern Oklahoma to Norman, OK about 20 miles south of Oklahoma City. We actually skipped the planned stop at Canton Lake up in the northern part of Oklahoma because of the bad weather forecasted - tennis size hail does not play nice with fiberglass roofs!! It was only another 2½ hours to come on into Norman a couple of days early. Since we had no reservations at Canton Lake or Norman, it worked out very well. Not many pictures after entering OK as Doris' camera broke. We think we have it fixed - tomorrow's trip will tell.

We are staying at the Cleveland County Fairgrounds where we have a 50 amp, full hookup, back-in site with neighbors very close on each side but will do nicely since it is the closest to where my aunt and cousin live and we will be spending most of the time there instead of the coach. We have great Verizon, a clear shot to the satellite, and fairly good WiFi.

We had a great time visiting relatives for a week and my cousin, Jeanne, who is a fabulous cook managed to undo all the weight loss we had accomplished with our walking the last three months!! We also got to visit with Jeanie's son and daughter and their four kids - it was quite a time and we enjoyed it immensely.

All good things have to end, so tomorrow we will continue our journey home and be leaving for the small town of Ozark, AR and a visit to Aux Arc COE park on the Arkansas river just south of town.
