Lyn & Joanne's RV Adventure to Alaska travel blog

It was a nice day for traveling........cool, with light showers occasionaly.....still lots of hills(mountains), but the Interstate grades are not so severe as some lesser highways, so we made good time and the gas mileage went up. The Rockies were on our left flank for most of the way, and they looked good with all the snow on top. We crossed the border into Canada at the Coutts, Alberta crossing. The officer looked at our passports, asked us the requisite questions and when appraised of our travels, said "Have a nice summer," and sent us on our way. Two units in front of us, were sent to the inspection station for a closer look, I guess.

We wanted a shorter trip today, so we could spend some time deciding what we would do with our remaining time in Canada before we get to Dawson Creek on the 24th. We think we will go to Edmonton, and take a look at the Mall, which is supposed to rival, the "Mall of America". We don't need to shop, just look!
