I stopped at 2 more malls today, that makes 6 in 3 days. I think I’m addicted. The first one in Roseburg was the smallest of the 6 (you know you‘re in a small mall when the anchor store is a Rite Aid). It took 5 laps to make a mile. The weather was nice so I tacked on some outside walking too, even managed a little jog. The parking was a little tight but not too bad. The second mall stop was after dark in Salem. Nice area with no security issues but there were some weirdos lurking about. So far, from my limited exposure to malls, I would say that weekday afternoons would tend to be the best times to go. I am sure that during heavy shopping days, like Black Friday and Christmas, mall walking could be a real challenge, but with the mess the current economy is in, it’s been a breeze.
Not that anyone really cares but so far there has been only 2 of the same stores at all 6 malls. Can you guess which ones they are? The answer is below in small print. Victoria’s Secret came in with 5 showings, pun intended. I’ve seen a lot of Heidi Klum in the past 3 days but I ain’t complaining.
