American falls

We went with a tour company to take a tour of the falls on the Canadian side. The bus took us to the falls, then to botanical gardens, the whirlpool on the river down stream, the gorge down stream the American power plant, the Canadian power plant, the Floral Clock, and then up the observation tower 550 feet tall to see the falls at night illuminated. While at the falls we did get to take the tunnels that lead you to the front of the falls near the bottom and then to behind the falls. Behind the falls was a joke, all you can see is white mist. Taking pictures down there was also a joke. Up on the observation tower at night did not make for good pictures. It was too dark for both our cameras. I have posted what I can, some in the daylight are great, but the night pictures are not so great.

We started the tour at 4:30 PM and finished about 9 PM. It is getting dark a lot earlier now. It was 34 degrees last night. Time to head South. Today we have a bus tour of the American side of the falls.
