Sunset on Medina Lake after the rain.

We woke up to rain Monday morning after spending the night in another small Texas town, Del Rio, on the Mexico boarder. At least it wasn't snow! It is actually starting to warm up; was 72 degrees on Sunday when we arrived in Del Rio. We tried to tour a 200 year old winery, but it wasn't open on Sunday.

After driving about 4 hours in the rain, we arrived at Medina Lake campground, about 30 miles east of San Antonio. The skies cleared up mid afternoon and we found ourselves surrounded by White Tail Deer. We will stay here at least a week while we check out San Antonio and the surrounding areas.
