Site 18 - Sugar Bush Campground, Hillsdale, MI

Campground Chapel

Arrived here at Sugar Bush after about a six-hour drive and and a couple of stops along the way. Stopped at Wal-mart in one of the towns on the way down and picked up a few things we needed. More importantly we stopped at the largest Minnetonka store this side of the Mississippi and picked up a couple of pair of moccasins for me. Doris got tired of seeing me run around in the ones I had which had the sole coming off. :)

The campground here is heavily wooded and has large campsites

. Luckily I was able to get the DirecTV sighted in through a small hole in the trees. I may just figure out how to get this stuff done by the time we get home. :)

Saturday we just did a little drive around the area. This area is thick with antique shops, more so than Waldo and Miconopy. We stopped in one and it took two hours just to look through it. We also stopped at a place selling maple syrup but they were far to proud of it so we didn't buy any. We had a fire and roasted weiners and just relaxed a bit for a change.

Sunday we worked on the motorhome. It needed some TLC and we spent the day checking all of the sytsems over and doing some cleaning. The campground also has a small chapel

and Doris attended church there. We didn't do much here but camp so not many pictures. Tomorrow we head for Ohio. We will be camping at a COE campground at a lake about 20 miles from Canton and also from Akron.
