Hello To All,

Well, we enjoyed "boon-docking" at Peggy and Jeff's home over the holiday. We arrived on the 3rd and departed on Monday the 7th. We set up in the front yard and ran the genset for power as we needed to cool down the RV and to charge the house battery. The generator ran just fine with no problems to report. I will include some photos of how that set up went.

We had a grand time visiting with family and friends. The food was just great. I think the ribs were the best. Thanks Jeff and Peg for your warm hospitality and great place to celebrate our independence.

The temperature at times was in the mid 90's during our stay but the breeze on the hill coming off the mountain was enough to keep us reasonably "cool". Those huge hickory trees and shade did the trick. After about 11PM the camper was just fine for sleeping.

Josh and Mikelle set their pop-up across from us and they seemed to do just fine as well. They have a good set up for camping and tow using F250 SD / Diesel.

It appears that I will have to take the Cougar in for some maintenance over the next week or so prior to our departure to West Coast the last of July. I think I have an A/C blower motor going out (excessive vibration). It is covered under warranty, so, just have to get it in the shop as soon as possible.

Our next RV pull is scheduled for August 3rd for a week at Lexington, Ky at the Kentucky Horse Park (State Park). We haven't camped in Ky before so we are looking forward to this run. Check out our ITINERARY for exact dates.

The pictures I have attached are just a few of the ones we took to document our family time. I wish I could post all of them but that would take up too much space so forgive me if you photo is not included. I sincerely hope that you had a time to be with your loved ones on this holiday. After all, isn't family and friends the most important treasure that you have in your life just short of your relation with God??

Anyway, hope all of you had a great holiday and enjoyed your time off from work to be with family and friends. Come and see us when you can.

Until then.......in Dad's memory the ADVENTURE continues!!

Later Alligators,
