Saturday, Oct. 6

Our destination on Saturday was Prince Edward Island (PEI) - a complete province in itself. We took the ferry over, and were immediately introduced to "Cows" ice cream on board (PEI's answer to Ben & Jerry's). It really is delicious. PEI is beautiful and relatively flat, very bucolic and pastoral, reminding us of upstate New York and home. We stopped at a local winery, and drove through a group of towns called "Murray" (Anne's maiden name).
