The trip to Buffalo Park wasn't long, but really got hot toward the last couple of hours. I don't know why it is so hot here. We're supposed to be in the cooler weather! We pulled into Buffalo Park about 4 p.m.(because of the tire stuff, we didn't leave until almost noon) We were really ready to stop for a while. We do not like these one night stands and we have done four of them in a row!
We found a great spot with the whole river front right out our door. Everything is green, the river is moving downstream, lots of birds. Madison gets glimpses of squirrels and chipmunks even. We sat out on our mat with a drink in our hand and said, "This is heaven."

We were so blown away with the beauty of the spot that all we could do is smile. Jeff looked around and said, "Love what you've done with the yard."

We booked here through Monday, since Jeff's appointments are then. If he has to go back in a lot, we'll move up to Illinois Beach since it is closer, but if he doesn't, we're staying right here.
We haven't had a chance to see Adam yet. He is in the middle of a big load out and load in and working lots of overtime, so next week we'll get to meet him and his new girlfriend Laura. We are really looking forward to that.
