Today was a very long day. It took us eight hours to get to Bar Harbor. The roads are hilly and twisting and we drove through many little villages. It was a rare event when we could drive 55 or 60 miles per hour. Linda left ahead of us because she doesn't like to make many stops. Barb and I like to stop to take pictures.
Our home for at least the next three nights will be at Hadley's Point Campground situated on the far north tip of Mount Desert Island. It is near a lot of interesting attractions and beautiful scenery. The campground will remain open until mid-October.
Barb and Linda went into town for dinner tonight but I stayed home. I had a splitting headache, so I took some allergy medicine and went to bed early.
