 Crossing The Continental Divide on I-40 |
OK, so tonight we are suppose it set our clocks back an hour because Daylight Saving Time (DST) is going away, right? However, I just crossed into Arizona and they are in the Mountain Time Zone (MTZ) but they don’t do DST. So what time is it here, anyway? I stopped at the Arizona Welcome Center and asked the attendant that very question. She explained, or at least tried to, how some of the year they are on California time and the rest of the year they are on New Mexico time. By the time she was through explaining it, I was more confused than ever. I just wonder if my atomic clocks will figure all this out by morning. Currently, I have four clocks displaying 4 different times, one on MTZ w/DST, one on MTZ w/o DST, one on PTZ w/DST, and one on PTZ w/o. One of them must be right, but which one? I’m now parked for the night at WalMart in the state of confusion.
