Hello to all my Dear Family and very close Friends:

Hope all of you are enjoying these earlier days of Spring. Around our house we have seen much change and growing the last waning days of Winter and the increasing warmth of an early Spring.

Chris and I have endured three chemo treatment cycles and just now started the fourth cycle (3 weeks long). I am feeling strong and determined to see this all the way through the scheduled six treatment cycles. So, hope to be completed by late May, God willing.

Chris is taking good care of me, and so far have gained around 10 lbs since all of this started. So, good care and good cooking will do the trick everytime...plus all the steroids do help. I'll have to go on a good diet when all the treatments are completed.

OK...Enough of me.

Our travels have been stopped of late. During the time we decided to trade the COUGAR (5th Wheel) and the BEAST (F250) in for a motor home. So, a couple of weeks ago, we did just that and purchased a 2005 Class C Motor-home (it is on a Ford F450 chassis).

Model is a Coachman "Concord 275DS". About 30+ feet long, with two slideouts (in the living room and bed room.) Its very comfortable with just us and Toby. (See pictures I posted above)

We still have the BEAST yet to sell. You guys at DENSO put the word out that I have the beast up for sell.

We hope to be able to use the Coachman to take some good motor trips to see family and camp like we use to. I think we will fore go the volunteer work for awhile and just relax...camping instead of working. Besides, working will wear you out real quick.

We did make a short trip over to my sister's home, near Winchester, Tennessee, recently to check out the new rig. We stayed for about a week hooked up to shore power at her home. In fact, the pictures you see above were taken at her home. The home is built on the very site of our Grandpa's (on my mother's side) old home that was built on 1917 circa. So, we affectionately call Peg's home "PAPA'S PLACE".

We have been having family gatherings and reunions here for going on 50 years... beginning when the old place was still standing, up to the new log home you see in the pictures. Lots of memories for sure.

I guess I said all that to encourage all of you to seek out your loved ones, and renew your love for one another. Make some memories that you can one day, while you are reclining in your rocker, that you can close you eyes and recall those sweet times together. Believe me guys, those are the times that will last.

Love and Memories do endure and lives on long after we are gone.

With that...I'll wish you all a Happy Spring and fair winds to your back. Keep in touch, and please write something in the guest book on you way out.

In my Dads sweet memory......The Adventure Continues..............

Later Alligators,

Archie, Chris and Toby (the traveling pup)
